Antu, the Annunaki Queen
Antu: My dear, greetings from Nibiru, our station. Our eyes are more similar to the eyes of our draco ancestors. Our DNA is a mixture of species, you can say that our appearance at the time of our arrival on Earth is the appearance of beings that look in part reptilian, in part feline and in part human for the most part. :)
There are indeed some turtle species endemic to our beautiful Universe.

Antu: At the time of our arrival , we held in our ark the DNA of lots of species to make life flourish in your planet, hence the similarities of species to both the humanoid species of the Universe and also the ones that have more animal features. This is the melting pot that we all have created, but there is still much fear in relationship to us as to approach us with your hearts (generalizing). We indeed made many mistakes during our experiments, but mostly, in the way we treated our children. We did use them as labor force and that is perhaps the most painful part, along with the conflicts that took place among us as a group of beings with a negative orientation. However, many of the Nibiruan inhabitants were more pacific but also some were rebellious in nature and definitely opposed our selfish ways.
As your species heal the historical traumas, more humans will approach us with love in mutual respectful understanding.
It has been indeed difficult for us all to understand, moreso your species. For that reason, we show up from time to time in human form, based on our subsequent involvement in your planet in human incarnations among our children. At the deepest level we love and admire our children for they have overcome the most difficult challenges and many already approach life with a new understanding.
We never truly left our children but we stayed many times among you in human form, which is the reason indeed why there is confusion about our appearance. Our original appearance is not appealing to many of your people. Even for this vessel my own appearance came as a surprise.
There are interesting stories in your history about the turtle people indeed. Ancient species that could live as long as thousands of your years in linear measure.
